I am a homebody type. I love being at home alone or hanging with my mom and sister. I have lived in Stillwater for 16 years. The amazing thing is i've managed to somehow never attend a OSU football home game (go Cowboy's!) or become a member of one of the 50 thousand churches in this town. The good thing is that I still can't envision myself living anywhere else. I do like to travel and go on adventures, but sooner or later the land of still water calls me back home. I grew up on a horse farm. I was always embarassed growing up because i wore roper's all the time and none of the other kid's thought that was cool. I had pet turtles (named after the teenage mutant ninja turtles of course). When it would rain and flood my sister and i would put wal-mart bags on our feet and go outside to play in puddles and find crawfish and eventually slosh around bare foot. I never went out to the movie theatre on friday nights in middle school and i never went to school dances except for my jr. and sr. year. Most of my time was spent working with my family on the farm, riding horses, being creative, going on adventures with my sister, practicing cello, practicing piano, reading, and school. I learned very early how to be content and to never be bored. Every once in a while my dad's friend gary would drop by in his old yellow truck with the bed filled with junk. My sister and i would climb and crawl and dig all over that truck for buried junk treasure. Maybe this explains my love for shopping in antique stores. That is pretty much me! I am really quiet but not necessarily shy, I don't believe in being mean, and I love good company.
