I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I always wanted to change the world. So I became a fashion designer. It isn't always easy, but I'm doing everything I can to make the world a better place--for our generation, and for those to follow.I'm insired by the oddest things--a trick of light or the fall of the shadow. So I like to capture these things and see if anyone else sees what I do.

My Interests

I'm interested in anything that perks my curiosity. Shadows, expressions, new sounds, tastes, feelings...

I'd like to meet:

anyone interesting

Music:

I danced to old eightie's hits as I made dinner last night, listened to Johnny Cash as I sketched, and fell asleep to AFI "Miss Murder", got ready for work this morning blaring Ingrid Michaelson and walked into the design room humming along to the reggae drifting from the warehouse...so i guess I really don't have a type...

Movies:

I like songs and music that says something--lycrics and tunes with meaning. Regretably, my tastes aren't as refined when it comes to movies!!! As long it can hold my interest...I'm afraid I'm pretty much a movie nerd

Television:

Reality TV, documentries, and lifetime movies. Oh, and call me weird, but I actually love comercials.

Books:

Books are my escape from reality (as if I need another excuse!). I really have too many favorites to list.

Heroes:

Artists. People not afraid to express themselves. And to clarify: I mean artist NOT ashamed of their creations. Artists who are more than proud to share their art with the rest of the world.

My Blog

Welcome to Every Date Ever

The Solution; A Solution; My Solution?

Rain can be cold and (obviously) wet, but it has one MAJOR upside: it cleans the sky!! When we had that crazy week of rain here in Long Beach, the air was fresher than I can ever remember it being her...

Conspiracy Theories

So I have this theory about "they". "They" is the collective public, right?  And you are a part of the collective public...right?  So, whenever you say something like: "They say _____" or--t...

Friend That Was

I have to anounce the loss of a dear, dear friend.  Last night, as I sat waiting for the train, I unwittingly set my journal beside me...and forgot about it.  Being as it was not there this ...

Rock Me Amadeus

(from journal this morning)   4 o'clock in the morning is SO MUCH FUN!!! No, seriously: I had a blast.  Wow, do you know what I just realized?  That I have become a sarcastic person.&...

Living To Die

I saw a butterfly at the beach the other day. There's this river walk along the cliff overlooking the water and right in the middle of it was this butterfly--immobilized by the wind--trying its damnde...

Best Face Foreward

Everyone has an angle that they know is their best for pictures. It's so funny--going through people's pictures and seeing how often they make that same expression, tilt their slightly, turn to the si...

He Doesn't Stand a Chance

I hate my neighbor. She just kissed the cute boy from across the courtyard. Not that "the cute boy" is really all that cute. And he has an annoying voice. And he lives with his mom. Its just that he's...

Excuse Me, Miss

You know that corny catch-phrase: "Never frown; you never know who might be falling in love with your smile." Well, if you're one of those people who assume that they turn invisble when they're wrappe...
