My interests are quite plentiful... When I'm not out and about driving around, or playing football I'm probably writing. I mean its my job but I've managed to find a job that is one of my biggest in interests in life. On par with writing is reading, I feel its a must because you have to read in order to write. Well in most cases its that way.I'm also a sneaker fiend... I think I wrote this down somewhere before but it must've disappeared. To elaborate, I'm a shoe fiend... but since most of the shoes I get are sneakers I think its much more appropriate to be called a Sneaker Fiend.
Anyone who can make me laugh... It sounds so cliche but the world could use abit more laughter
I like all sorts :) I think I've garnered a better appreciation of music after learning how to play the guitar. All in all it depends on the mood I'm in. I like to dance but I can't dance to save my life. One of my favourite all time bands is Incubus, because I think their music has somewhat evolved and it seems that no matter what it has evolved into I like it.Aside from that I like the stuff that my cousin Fahmi mixes and brings home from Perth Australia. Its alot of Jazz and Lounge stuff... Its heaps cool... Full Frequency RTR.Fm :p
Donnie Darko was a fantastic movie, or so I thought... A few other movies that have caught my imagination are The Harvard Man, Waking Life, I'm a StarWars fan but I feel they have to make up for the last two movies in the series, which are actually the first two, I also enjoyed iRobot and the Shawshank Redemption, Brave Heart, A Perfect Storm, Oceans Eleven, both Mission Impossible movies... Actually come to think of it there is so much there... I have to say I'm a bit of a movie buff... not as big as they get... but a movie buff never the less...
I like Wilbur Smith, I like Neil Gaiman, I also like Anne Rice. Most of the stuff I like is stuff that makes you think. That sentence might suggest differently but I think I'll stick to my guns on that. Hmmm The Mists of Avalon was I book oh so long ago, but the way it was written and angle taken by the Author has made it one of the books I've loved reading time and again. Another set of books that I'm currently going through and that I really like is The Tenth Insight which is the second book after the Celestine Prophecies. I think its the Celestine Prophecies... it could be the Celestine Prophecy but yeah... I'll tell you that when I figure it out.
"I don't have any fear of a crash. No fear of that. Of course, on a fifth gear corner with a fence outside, I don't want to crash. I'm not crazy. But if its near the end of practice, and you're trying for pole position maybe, I guess you can squeeze the fear ..."Gilles Villeneuve on Fear...
