What do you want to know about me? I'm a short, energitic, silly, half-filipina girl.
I love to dance, read, drive, workout, run, hike, camp, and raft, and I love the mountains, music, motorcycles and cars, too. I think that about narrows it down. I've thought about taking up rock-climbing too, but haven't tried it yet. It's on my list of things to do. I've already accomplished white-water rafting and let's just say that it took me over. I can't seem to get enough of camping and rafting. The mountains are almost spiritual for me. I take a nice long weekend, drive up to the mountains with some friends, camp all weekend, hike and raft. And then I forget about everything else going on in the world, including my life, for just that weekend and I come back home relaxed.
Another thing that I absolutely love to do is run, run, run! Lately, I haven't been able to due to an injury to my ankle. I ache to run again with my running buddies, but I have learned a hard lesson - going back too soon will make things worse. Being that is what I did, I paid dearly for it and am missing out...But hopefully I'll be back out pounding the pavement come the fall and start training for a half marathon in the coming year. It was supposed to be my goal this year, but alas, I've been set back. But not completely off track!
At this point in life, my focus is now on getting my college education. So right now, I'm an awfully busy girl!
Not to mention that I just got a bike and am trying to find time to get out and ride too!
I am also an animal lover. I've had almost every type of pet...from gerbils to birds to snakes. But right now I'm the proud parent of a eight-year old pomeranian named Juliet aka Jujubee and a one year old grey kitten named Socks. They are both absolutely spoiled rotten! But they're my babies, what can I say
I also adore and completely love tigers. Ever since high school I've been so into tigers. I think they're the most gorgeous creatures and my dream used to be to work with them one day. However, life changes and it has taken me down a different road. Where I'm at in life today is not possible for me to go after my dream without taking a huge paycut. Which, of course, is impossible because of my debts. But I have not given up completely. It always good to have dreams where you think someday they might come true...
