In no particular order:
Music (singing along and dancing around while listening to it),
Films (good ones),
TV (good shows but of course the occasional crap one, we all do it),
Cartoons (why did they stop showing cartoons before movies?),
Retail therapy,
Dreaming (during the day and while sleeping),
Beer (happy to try all different kinds),
The colour of the sky as the sun sets,
Well made cups of tea,
Beaches (but not for swimming, surfing or sunbathing),
Sunday afternoon picnics in the park,
Hangover curing fry-ups,
Getting letters unexpectedly (not from the bank!),
Good timing and intuition,
Eating fruit when it's perfectly ripe,
Taking really good photos of nights out,
The smell of new books,
Going to a gig where every song is brilliant and you never want it to end,
Hearing about mind blowing coincidences,
Crap jokes (and good ones),
Thinking about London
Someone who has invented time travel so I could back and tell myself not to do some of the stupid stuff I've done. But then life wouldn't be so interesting without all the stupid stuff I guess (sic).
I have varied tastes from a bit of metal all the way to easy listening and musicals! I was listening to Radio 2 in the womb so that explains the last two genres there... On my stereo at the moment are: Bloc Party, Maximo Park, Arcade Fire, Faker, Cut Copy, Greenday, White Stripes, Zutons, Foo Fighters, amongs others! I like stuff that moves me the most, things that make you dance, jump around and sing along. It's what music is for after all!
Varied tastes from scary movies to musicals. I love a bit of The Shining, Poltergeist, The Exorcist, The Omen, but also some My Fair Lady, Wizard of Oz and The Sound of Music! Donnie Darko is a big fave too. I like pretty much anything except pure schmaltz chick flicks and poor action movies. Oh! And Back to the Future is tops. Will think of more I expect...
Not sure where to start here as I am a self-confessed telly addict. Not been watching so much recently as sunny days, friends and beer have been calling. When I do get in front of the box though, I'm loving Lost, The OC, 24, Desparate Housewives, Simpsons, Fururama, Family Guy etc. I'm rather good at quoting from the Simpsons as my auntie used to tape them off Sky One for me when I was a kid and I'd watch them over and over. I do like a good bit of British comedy too, Pheonix Nights, Spaced, Monty Python, Black Books. Saw Allo Allo for the first time in ages the other week.. How good was that?!
I've just finished London Fields by Martin Amis, a sad loss frnkly as I've been reading it for 6 months! I had a rummage in the boxes of books under my stairs (they belong to my house mate) and have plumped on Life of Pi for my next 6 month-er. It won a booker prize apparently! Will keep you posted on my progress...
