About Me

.
I've been playing in bands for ages. All sorts of things. Played skronky early 90s post-rock in Clingfilm (drums). Played d&b/electro/hip-hop in The Deverills and The Return Of Jimmy V (programming, drums, keyboards, all sorts). Played space-rock love songs in Marineville (drums). Played angular slow-motion scrunch-rock in Basho (drums). Played lilting americana in Woodmouse (drums and keyboards). Played gallumphing, lazer-guided surf-rock in The Sciroccos (drums). Umm, I think that's it. I've been writing my own stuff for about seven years and done a bit of DJing at house parties and pretentious bars and stuff too. Now I write whatever you want to call the music I have here and I also play drums for The Black House. So there's that.Simple.
I like food and walking in the countryside and old bars in cities and red wine and smoking in the winter and growing vegetables and Larry David and sea monsters and Everton Football Club and the rain and things with bellows and boiled eggs on Sunday and climbing trees and mustard and camping and cooking and polar bears and afternoons in the pub and old leather sofas and records and my musical instruments and my friends and waking up and falling asleep.

Chris Isaac - Go Home, We Dont Want You Any More

The Chris Isaac idea has died a swift and apologetic death. But it has opened a door to a lovely new musical thing. I've started working on some bombling sounds that would very much suit a battalion o...
