I was born in Nicaragua but raised in the states since I was 12 .I love ppl that like to have fun I really dont care about drama just fun. Being a Latino you know I love to dance especially salsa, merengue, hip hop and of course my favorite is slow music. I love the beach and any place that is tropical. I served in the navy and traveled to places like Africa, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Canada, Baharain, Kuwait, Saudi, Hawaii and if you are wondering yes I like to travel. I just moved to California from Florida and Im trying to start a new life. I was a General Manager for Bally Total Fitness for nine years. Tragedy brought me to Sacramento. I received a phone call from my sons mom letting me know that our son was going in for emergency surgery to remove a tumor that was in his spinal cord which had the possibility of paralyzing him for the rest of his life. At the moment I thought that was the worst news ever not realizing that two weeks after his surgery which left him 30% paralyzed the doctors would also add that the tumor was cancer and he only had six months to live. This was too much for me to handle because I was still dealing with the passing of my Father who had died three months prior. I always have been the person who tries to find the positive things in a bad situation. So I quit my job in Florida and moved to Sacramento to help my sons mom take care of Jordan. The doctors said that he would not be able to walk any time soon. Because of my experience in the fitness industry and as a parent that did not want or believe that my son would never walk again I brought my cando attitude and positive energy to a family that had already been through a lot and was running out of options. I was able to look at my son and tell him that the doctors did not know what they were talking about and that he would be able to at least stand. I never realized that by taking this job in the fitness industry it was going to help me one day give hope to my son because he would believe anything I said since I made a living helping people better their lives by exercising and sometimes he would listen to me over the doctors. To my surprise when I came to Sacramento we set out a goal of two weeks for him to stand and through his determination and will power he was able to not only stand but also took steps. The doctors did not believe that was possible and we all knew it was a miracle. The only limits our bodies have are the ones we set on them. Determination and dedication to a goal can overcome any boundary. Jordan put up a good fight. At times he would help us cope with things with his funny humor about his situation. He would tell me stuff like hey dad I can play x box better with one hand not to mention it was his left hand and he was right handed his whole life. The last three months of his life he was paralyzed from the neck down. At this time we knew we were going to have to face our worst fears and we did 9/24/2005 R.I.P Jordan. In every tragedy there are some good things that happen.because I have seen what exercise can do for your body and your spirit. Those who know me personally know that I am a great friend and have a great sense of humor. As my friend you will be periodically receiving funny videos and crazy comments. After all we know when we were born but we dont know when we will die so welcome to my world because from here on out it is all about fun, laughter and love and maybe a little tequila and of ormimg#googleTLogo
