20/20 VISION

About Me

20/20 Vision used to rehearse in Tommy the bassist’s shed and also at the Railway Pub in Harrow where The Who used to play in the 60s.The band loved playing and lived for playing live and they all got on really well, but split in 1988 after playing a showcase gig put on by Harvey Goldsmith’s brother. The keyboard player had over-indulged and screwed the gig up and the singer had to be restrained by three people from laying into him. That was pretty much the end of the band. Then Christian O'Connell of Virgin Radio gave bands from the past that didn’t quite make it, the chance to reunite and have the chance to play to an audience of thousands in Hyde Park at the Hard Rock Calling festival this summer featuring Eric ClaptonThey lost contact with Ron the guitarist who went off into family life in New Zealand and also with Mike Benn the keyboard player, but Virgin Radio tracked them down and were reunited live on the Breakfast Show. Unfortunately Benn declined to go ahead with the comp so an honorary 2020 vision member has step into be the keyboard player introducing Richard “the professor” Adams, Richard is currently the keyboard player in Frank’s present band Invisible Dog~If your a Facebook member join "The 20/20 VISION Appreciation Group (One Last Dream Virgin Radio!!!)"~
