UPSETTA
Influenced by their heroes, The Specials, Talking Heads, The Jam , The Clash, The Police. Lyrically they are inspired by day to day life ,their friends , nightlife, streetlife, girls!Approximately three years ago, Tim started programming and writing using Akai samplers , old synths, Atari and a Tascam reel to reel multi-track tape machine. OLD SCHOOL stuff really,while doing his regular job as a bass player with well known drum & bass producers.,..
While that was being fine tuned, ideas and songs were also laid down. Rough vocals were added, mixed and played to mates for a reaction. After receiving encouraging feedback on those demos, some low key gigs were performed with just a backing track, vocalist and live bass.
That made it very clear that a band would be the way forward.
Peta came in on drums ,then Jay was introduced to Tim and Andy was pulled in from another band,...UPSETTA line up Done...
You can now catch them around the place, anywhere they can possibly plug in and play...they will play..It's in the blood.
