About Me

When a man grows old and his balls grow cold and the tip of his peck turns blue, and it bends in the middle like a one string fiddle, he can tell you a tale or two...Well enough of the old Irish rugby songs...about me, eh..?? I hate this part...I grew up in Ontario and moved here to the west coast about eight years ago. I graduated high school and have attended two different colleges. I am a certified pharmacy technician but, for many negative reasons never was able to land a job in that field. (I really don't want to get started on that one...pisses me off big time.) I just recently landed a job at a machine shop and after a three month probation will start apprenticing. Woooooohoooooo..!!! If you haven't noticed my dream car is a Dodge Viper R/T 10...(sigh). I don't have a favorite colour, but I like dark shades. I have two brothers(one older and one younger) and a little sis. And yes..!!! my parents are still together, how 'bout that. Anyways, enough worthless banter...I'll update this as I think of things to add.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I'd have to say that I honestly don't know, and that's because whoever I chose to meet probably wouldn't want to meet me. But, if I had to choose.....let's see Bono would be interesting. Morgan Freeman seems pretty down to earth. Johnny Depp has character for sure. Dr. David Suzuki is a person that I have liked since I was in high school. I would love to join Duane "Dog" Chapman on one of his arrests, that would be a rush. Mike Rowe is just way too funny. Maybe get into the ring with Bret 'Hitman' Hart to learn a move or two.

Music:

I love 80's music. When I die I hope that I go to 80's heaven. When I'm not listening to a retro show, I like just about anything top 40.

Movies:

To name a few in no particular order... Lord Of The Rings Trilogy, Happy Gilmore,Terminator Trilogy, Gladiator, Exorcist, American History X, Shawshank Redemption, The Matrix, Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Chronicles of Riddick, Good Will Hunting, 8 Mile, Interview With The Vampire, Napoleon Dynamite, 12 Monkeys and so many more...

Television:

Ohhhh, now there's a topic. All the crap that's on T.V. toady. Whatever happened to television where you didn't have to eat a bowl of regurgitated whale testicles topped with water buffalo sperm coated anal bonbons...?? Ok, ok...there are a few programs that I do watch. I like Chappelle's show, Simpson's, anything hosted by Bill Curtis on A&E, Most Haunted, and I still watch WWE here and there. Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe is hilarious. I'm staring to almost like Family Guy. I also find OCC quite amusing. They could be building bikes or have a show about arranging flowers for all I care, they're just very likeable guys. Sin Cities with Ashley Hames and Grub Smith is as entertaining as a Friday night can get. Yes, it's mostly mindless stuff but, I like to laugh.

Books:

Not really into reading, not sure why but, it's something that doesn't interest me at all.

Heroes:

I can't say that I know too many heroes. I mean, what does one have to do to be a hero? My grandfather was a Canadian soldier who fought in WWII over in Europe. He was born in 1920 and still lives today right down the street from me. He's very active and quite funny when he wants to be. It's because of people like him, we live in freedom today. He is a hero. Another man that I could call a hero is Joe Glover. I worked on his farm from the time I was a little boy until I was an adult. I like to think that I am the person I am today because of Joe and his wife Lydia. They were like second parents to my brothers, sister and myself. And their four children, were the best. Even though they were a little older, Karen, John, Bill and Ingrid always treated us like siblings.
