My name is Marcus Capenter. Music is pretty much my life. I've been playing some form of instrument since 4th grade. It started with recorders and bell choirs in elementary school. Then I joined an orchestra in middle school where I learned trumpet and string bass. I also took piano lessons on and off during those years, while learning cello and the kettle drums. When I was in sixth grade, I joined the Keene Camerata as third string bass. We've performed at the Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas numerous times. Now, I'm in high school and I've been continuing my cello practice while adding violin and viola. For a while I taught some elementary kids the basics of music at Burton Academy. I have a lot of songs in my head that I want to write, and hope to become a professional concert performer and compose scores for movies.Where and how did DJ Maestro come to be? Basically, I started dabbling on my sister's Garageband program and have made a CD of amateur pieces I composed. I love Techno/House/Rave/Trance/Tech, and try to incorporate many other cultures and sounds into those pieces. My first CD was called "Dreaming" the second is called "Illusion, DJ Maestro." and my latest one is called "NIGHTLIFE" with songs I performed at HYDRAQUA and other places. I hope to get that out. I really enjoy doing that. I worked on one song with my sister, who is also creating a CD.Anyways, like I said, music is my life and I never get tired of it....so.....rock on.
