I am here for Friends

About Me

I am dependable and honest. Those are the two things that I hold closest to my heart and they both hurt me beyond understanding when I am involved with someone who is neither.

My Interests

Travel, I guess this is really a stupid response for a truck driver to put in an ad but to be totally honest with you it is the greatest thing about my job. I am also a big supporter of Sirius Satelite Radio. I think I would be willing to give up any of the gadgets I have in my truck before I would give up my Sirius. Howard Stern has even gotten my attention since his arrival to Sirius. I am beginning to wonder what the fuss was with the FCC.

I'd like to meet:

Actually meeting people is another great part of my job. I have met people all over the country and as a general rule most of them are pretty cool. Of course I tune out the assholes and idiots that I encounter in my world travels but that is just part of the job. It isn't personal.
And in case you are wondering... sometimes on the road I do encounter those who consider themselves "stars". Oddly enough the only one I can really comment on that left an impression was the one and only Kid Rock. The story is not really a long one but the bottom line is that I still haven't met anyone from Detroit that was worth a shit.

Music:

Here's the thing, I have in my collection several different types of music that include but doesn't end at: Rock, Hard Rock, Country, Rap, Dance... DONT MAKE ME CHOOSE! And on top of all of that I have 3 sirius satelite radios that allow me to listen to anything I don't already own. Sirius Rocks!!

Movies:

I currently have over 100 DVD's in my collection of all different types of movies and if you asked me to just name one or two I would feel like the others were being left out for one reason or another so I just can't do it. Horror, Comedy, Drama's, Cartoons... they are all equal in value.

Television:

Unlike some truck drivers out there I have no real time for television. I do have a few sets of TV shows like: The L Word from Showtime (season 1 & 2), and OZ from HBO (seasons 1 thru 5).

Books:

The Whole World Was Watching by Romaine Patterson (check out http://www.readromaine.com); Angels & Demons by Dan Brown; The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown. These are only the most recent but I am also a big fan of Steven King but mostly his older stuff. He has changed a lot in his old age. I did recently read his book Cell and that was really great full of twists.

Heroes:

My hero is anyone who will stand up for what they believe in. I really hate a coward. Here is a link to someone who is not a coward.

Is there such a thing as equal justice for all?

I just read a blog pic about Michael Vick where the dogs are sitting in the jury box ready to jump on Vick as he testifies at his trial and I had to laugh. But then I was talking to my girlf...

WTF??

As a general rule I just don't understand people. Why is it that when you ask someone a simple yes or no question you get some long drawn out explanation that you cannot fully understand? Then you ask...
