About Me:My name is Dylan, and I'm 18 years old and I play guitar, I started to play when I was 15, I didn't take it very seriously until a very traumatizing and spiritual experience occurred.. I then started to isolate myself with my guitar. I wasn't bad at expressing my emotions, or spirituality, I just have so much within me, I overwhelm most who I searched for comfort, or let the darker side of me push them away when they attempted to get close. So with this contradiction I knew I would be alone for a long time until... My guitar. I remember the day my guitar found me, and I found it, as if my guitar was a portal to intense spirituality, and pulled me into it.. As if I was in the blackness of the universe, and my guitar was what I used to gather light from all the galaxies and stars to be reborn as who I truly am. And as the spirituality, complexity, and simplicity of my music revealed myself to me, I have began searching for other musicians and friends that will help direct/guide, support, and walk with me through this mysterious, magical, and mystical path of music. ____________________________________________________________ ______________________I also play drums, bass, piano/keyboard, cello, violin, and I sing death vocals, and operatic vocals, but main instruments are guitar, drums, and vocals... The songs that I have on myspace at the moment are part of the album I'm writing, Im almost complete the other songs, but here is a few simple short explanations of the present songs: ____________________________________________________________ ______________________Deep Wonder: This song has a lot to do with the deep wonders of the unknown, and also just the moments where you stop to look at something so rare and beautiful in life and just.. wonder beyond what you are seeing and what your seeing. ____________________________________________________________ ______________________Enigma: This song is about the feeling of finding revelation in a very high spiritual way within me.. It was about when I started to learn a lot about myself. ____________________________________________________________ ______________________Don't Ever Let Go: This song is was about my mother who almost died, and went into a coma, I wrote this song while she was in the hospital. It is also about my love everyone, and the pain that I feel for what I cannot do. I understand what it's like to be abandoned, and left to to the point where you find yourself letting go and falling away from everyone and yourself. If your one of those people, find the light that guides your heart, and follow your heart. My hand, and love is reaching out to all of you who truly need someone, I would/will never let you go. ____________________________________________________________ ______________________ Forest Illusion: This song is about the two spirits within me, male and female.  The forest is the spiritual ground of both souls.  The female within me needs to be loved and noticed along with the male to release her sense of longing and emptiness, and to make her illusion a reality.  She can only feel real if she is loved for who she is by my mother.  I am trying to find my mother through everyone, seeing who is closest which naturally becomes the closest to me.  The beauty of it all is when the male part of me, embraces the female part of me completing each other. ____________________________________________________________ ______________________As far as musical purposes go, I’m a musician of a support group called: Cambodia support group. I love that when I play music people can connect to me and not only that, the money I make is going towards people that need it. I want to reach out to people like me, people that have been misunderstood by actions that have nothing to do with what they actually are, people who get left out to the point where its behind everything that you can’t see, I really want to reach out to those people because I think that everybody is beautiful and nobody deserves to be let go. ____________________________________________________________ ______________________I want to re-ignite the flame within us all to fight for who we truly are, and fight against what is making us what we are not.
