Jesus/The Church, Politics, Public Relations, History, Technology (new developments are awesome!)... I love to visit museums of any kind, symphonies, orchestras, the theater, etc.
What a tough question... I just really like to meet people. I like to learn about people and to see what makes them tick. Oh, but definitely Prince William and Thomas Jefferson, Ben Franklin, Margaret Thatcher, Indira Ghandi, Lottie Moon, Apostle Paul, Karl Rove, the list could go on. I love talking to people who have ideas - practical or impractical I think it makes you an interesting person to talk to. Dreams say a lot about who you are and who you want to be and - like questions - there are no stupid ones. There are so many great, even inspiring quotes about dreams I could insert here but here's one that means something to me because all talk and no action leaves you in the same place you started.
"All men of action are dreamers." James G. Huneker (Essayist)
I really like Chrsitian music because it helps keep me focused. I'm fairly mainstream, although I like the underground stuff I just don't want to dig it up myself. Honestly love the beat to hip-hop and rap. Obviously classical and jazz - oh and oldies. Definitely clean the house to oldies! :)
(I'm a sap and I'll admit to it readily!) Pride and Prejudice - gotta love it! My favorite rendition is still Collin Firth as Mr. Darcy, but there are some great lines in the newest one.
Anne of Green Gables (8 books and they're better than the movies), Rebecca, Jane Austen novels, Victoria Holt novels. I like the older novels typically, but there's a new book out called The Historian and one called 1776 that look very good, too.Note on Jane Austen- I loved and read Pride and Prejudice before it was cool to do so, so I am, as they say, a die hard fan!
