Comedy Overload Teaser
Nate got his start at Eastern Washington University near Spokane, Washington as an Organizational Communications major with an extracurricular minor in Stand Up comedy at clubs in Spokane and surrounding areas.
He grew up in Olympia, Washington. Establishing at a young age, an interest in comedy, in one form or another; he took an interest in entertaining his peers in his early years. Appearing in classrooms, at recess, and in the principle's office.
While in college, Nate was bitten by the comedy bug. On a dare from his friends, he took the stage to tell a few jokes in a Stand Up comedy contest in 2004. As predicted, he captivated the audience and was crowned as the contest 1st runner up, which greatly intrigued him and he decided to continue this new love.
Realizing his time should be used doing something that matched his vibrant personality and energy, nate began to hone his natural talents at local open mic nights. Soon, he began opening in several local comedy venues, along with recieving accolades for being a finalist in the Spokane International Comedy Contest in 2005 and for being a semifinalist in the 2007 Bay Area Black Comedy Competition and Festival. His growth has not stopped surmounting itself.
He has since moved to Los Angeles, the Stand-up comedy Mecca and is climbing the ranks. Busting up crowds with his sharp wit and foward stage presence, Nate appears to effortlessly leave audiences rolling with laughter.
Nate has worked with the likes of Jo Koy, Shang, Rodney Perry, Tony Roberts, Cocoa Brown, B-Phlat, Eric Blake, and others. Nate has been blessed to perform at various venues such as, the Brickwall Comedy Club(Spokane), the Comedy Store(Hollywood), the Ha-Ha Cafe Comedy Club(N. Hollywood), the Comedy Shop(Seattle), the Beach(Las Vegas), B.B. Kings(Universal Studios), and more... Keep your eye on this one. He's truly gifted with Funny.
