About Me

i have about as many clothes as three normal human beings combined and i do not have a favorite piece. i'm half irish (mother) and half polish, despite my father's birthplace being 90 miles south of miami. my mother says it's unhealthy for me to be as dramatic as i am. when my parents came into their parent/teacher meeting while i was in preschool, the first things out of Mrs. Dermer's mouth were, "Well, Catherine is a very independant, dramatic, and creative child, and very strong willed." these things don't change about a person. at some point in my life, i hope to own a very old burgendy volvo or saab, red glasses (check), and a comforter that i made myself. i want to learn to speak french (semi-check?) and drive a stick shift. i don't think i'm an artist, i think i was just born liking to do art. i have a strange obsession with artichokes and water chestnuts. i still don't know whether i'm a cat person or a medium-sized dog person.

If you're happy and you know it . . . you must be 8.

i am a dentist's dream, a lawyer's gleam;
of a typist's stain and a seller's name.
