Music is the light.it moves us ,it grooves us,it guides us ,and it gives us hope.Music gives us the freedom to express ourselves.The power to convey an individual message worldwide as far as the eye can see and as far as a radio wave can reach music is there.To all races and creeds to all religions.Music is the rhythm in which we talk, walk, sing, and dance....even our hearts beat to the rhythm of music.Open your ears, your arms, your heart, and your eyes and see the light...because the light is music.Ever since he can remember Dave Rose has been has been driven by music.Memories of playing keyboards by ear for neighborhood audiences at the age of three are still fresh in his mind.Even further evidence of Dave's passion for music at an early age is that he wrote his first song(consisting of six words)at the age of four.Since then has has taken many different roads and all involve music.Dave learned to play guitar at the age of 13 and started a small band which lasted a short time.Because of the family business(construction)Dave's music interest were sidelined a few years but he continued to practice playing keys,guitar,trumpet and singing until he was 18 where he got his 1st taste of professional recording.Dave teamed up with some college friends to form a singer songwriting group called "Kazanova"and signed a 12" deal with Covert records shortly after.With production lagging and internal disputes between bandmembers growing the group split from their producer and then themselves and expeience that left Dave shellshocked and disappointed in the record industry.Although Dave was soured on the recording industry he was getting more involved in the club scene and had various gigs as an emcee and dancing for clubs in the New York/Long Island club scene.This landed him a job working for various mobile Deejay Entertainment companies and kept him "in the mix" keeping him in tune with all the newest music .It was there he met his current production partner Mike Ivy and formed their production team known mainly as Ivy and Rose, M.a.d.house productions and SL5.With remixes and original tracks on labels such as Live,Loop 128 ,Licken Tribe,Rok-it records,Liquid 360,Groovelicious,Moda records,Darker Audio,Soundgroove records and their discograghy ever growing keep a look out foir their next release.Content from Coshed.com - Myspace Layouts
