I'm A DJ and this is the name of my record label or is it my DJ name? Can't figure that out.been playing with vinyl on my trusty old Technics I bought when I was 17! When I have them cleaned and got new covers, they told me my decks were the first models made in the 70's! unbeliveable! Dance music is my love (and i actually match beats!!) When I moved to NY 3 years ago I began to dig for classic jams! The used vinyl selection here in NYC is fucking amazing. I get a certain kind of rush when I find records that are old and so danceablenew stuff is good too. I heart promos! ALL things vinyl are good, but heavy when i wear heels! That is why I bought Serato....i have to walk 2 floors to my apt! and at 4am in heels with a create...i fall backwards!Currently I DJ with White Dove, a new brand in nightlife NYC I started with June D. Then at the Large Diesel store on 61st & Lexington. I play a mix of all things good, new and old, trying to somehow mix them all together at the same bpm..like 80s, electro, disco, old robot rock, new Berlin shitI love it all. I like vocals b/c I like to sing-a-long, espcially the disco!Now That i have started producingpending Live 6.0 arrival and time, I will do my own vocals and beats. Learning a lot of the new technology and loving digital recording, since do not play any instruments (I write with someone who does!) But I def could use more guitar and/or bass melodies?? samples anyone?Im feeling the dark side a little lately so I think thats where Im heading. Darker, Harder! I prefer....Death By DJ..
