Stumbling Blindly Forward

About Me

Bob Denson can be best nailed down as a songwriter. With a varied writing style and accomplished playing and singing abilities he has his own musical voice, one that has been recognized in the past by a nomination for the Asbury Music Awards in 2007. Even though Bob is just 21 years old listening to him play is like hearing something that harks back to another era, yet feels strangely new at the same time. Growing up in a rock, folk rock and blues house hold has definitely had an influence on him when he picks up the instrument to play and sing. However, thats not to say that soul, R&B and reggae do not play a large part in the sound that he projects to the listener . Oh, and did we mention that he goes to college for Jazz? So imagine all of these aspects of music being pushed together in to one package. Toss in a little long hair and compassion for writing lyrics and poetry and thats a taste of Bob Denson. Catching him in action is not too difficult, as he performs weekly at various venues in the tri-state area so sign the mailing list on www.bobdenson.com for more. Apart from his 2006 Live CD release, a second studio CD is due out before the end of the year with several new songs on it and are also available at www.bobdenson.com and at live shows.
