MUSIC ~ Singing it AND Listening to it!...Writing ~ I have a deep appreciation for the beauty of WORDS ~ written, spoken, lyrical ~ with the power to evoke such a myriad of emotions...("If you could only see...")...My CHILDREN ~ and ANYTHING THAT INTERESTS THEM!...My Family (with whom I do not communicate nearly enough but whom I absolutely TREASURE!)...My Friends (I have some great ones and I look forward to making new ones as well)...Nurturing (I have an affinity for it...though it be both a blessing and a curse)...
My Parents again someday (when it's my time to move from this existence to the next)...my grandchildren (when someday they are born)...and would the REAL Dr. Jekyll please stand up and show yourself?...but ONLY if and when you're ready to STAY out in the light ~ and LEAVE that piece-of-shit Mr. Hyde to rot forever in the dark where he belongs! (OK, so I'm working on the bitterness thing.)
Michael Keeth is THE BEST (and not just because he's my firstborn child ~ he IS amazingly talented! ~ make sure to check out his page!)...and I'll never stop missing Phallus' music...they ROCKED like no one else! (But The Roads of Rome now gives me hope that there is indeed life after Phallus!) Beyond that, there are just too many to name. I listen mainly to newer Country, good old Rock 'n Roll (Southern Rock and the like...the kind that leaves you no choice but to strut your stuff, "cut the rug" ~ you get my drift), and Alternative...but I have an appreciation for many musical genres.
Legends of the Fall...The Sixth Sense...Pay It Forward...I Am Legend...TRANSFORMERS (That one sort of jumps out atcha, doesn't it?! Hey, I once knew the names of ALL the He-Man / Ninja Turtles / Silverhawks / Thundercats characters, too! - MANY moons ago!)...IRON MAN (That movie ROCKED!!!), DARK KNIGHT (Also AMAZING!!!)...and the List goes on...
I hardly ever watch TV these days, but when I do: HOUSE is a fairly new favorite and LAW AND ORDER never gets old. I gotta say that I find reality shows ridiculous and seldom anywhere NEAR reality!...but hey, whatever helps you keep your sense of humor can't be all bad...Personally, I prefer the comedy of shows like FRAZIER (that sort of wry humor feels like home to me!) :D
Anything by Anne Rice (before she decided that her newly found religion presented a conflict with her talent for writing so eloquently about Vampires ~ and please understand I mean NO disrespect here, having been raised in a WONDERFUL home of Faith myself ~ for which I am ever grateful!)...The Lord of the Rings trilogy... but I hardly ever have time to read anymore, either! My kids keep telling me I should read HARRY POTTER (if for no other reason than so I can follow what the heck they're talking about a lot of the time!), so that's my plan ~ assuming I ever find the opportunity to do so.
My Children (Michael, Tony, Angie and Gabe mean THE WORLD to me!)...my Parents (I could not have been more lucky than to have had THEM!)...my Siblings (each one of them truly INCREDIBLE people!)...those who keep the faith and just keep on going in spite of unfathomable odds...people who actually KEEP their promises and/or commitments, who REALLY know what Love IS and SHOW IT in their actions every day (these are so very, very rare)...the BRAVE men and women who serve in our U.S. Military, to protect us and the freedom(s) we fought so hard to have in this country (Hey, whatever your politics or beliefs, we still owe HUGE thanks to those who protect our rights to have them!)...Recently, one of my own children joined those ranks, so I of course support him in any way I can and PRAY that he will always be SAFE! (Your Mumsy loves you, Tony!)
