The latest epic movie, supporting great bands that most people have never heard of, friends, snowboarding, wakeboarding, rock climbing, painting, drawing, driving 8,000 miles around the US with a buddy in a single week, taking photos, asking questions, finding answers. Art (museums, galleries, street, etc) Inspiration (it's all around us). Eating tons of junk food late at night. Finding something special in things that people typically over look. Always observing whats going on around me. Thinking (this one gets me into trouble). And for people that know me, Advertising (love it and hate it all at the same time).
Everyone. There is something great in all of us. If your cool with me, I'm cool with you. You can learn a lot about yourself and this world in a simple conversation with a total stranger. Homeless or CEO, I would share the same cup of coffee with both of you.
The Beatles are by far the greatest band. Latest good find is a friends band called White Light Riot (www.whitelightriot.com) these guys rock you should check them out here on MySpace. Pinback, We are Scientist (One of those bands you get stuck in your head) Youth Group (those Australians know how to rock) a band called Ok Go (catchy, catchy, catchy). Crystal Skulls (great original sound). Others include The Walkmen, Walking Concert and Jose Gonzlez (this guy did a song called Heartbeats for the Sony ad titled "Balls.") Check it out, it's an amazing song. There are so many more great bands out there, to see more of my favorites search through my friends. Another perk of Myspace.
I will watch just about anything. Most of my favorite movies are from the 80's (Weird Science, Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, Back to School, Back to the Future Trilogy, Beverly Hills Cop, Blue Lagoon, Breakin, Caddyshack, Clue, D.A.R.Y.L. Fast Times At Ridgemont High, Mr. Mom, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Fletch, Iron Eagle, Goonies, Ladyhawke, Karate Kid, Can't Buy Me Love, Legend, Bachelor Party, Lucas, Stand by Me, Meatballs, War Games, Top Gun, Police Academy, Teen Wolf, Space Balls, Real Genius, Top Secret, Space Camp, Once Bitten, Never Ending Story, Innerspace, The Boy Who Could Fly, Rad, The list goes on.... They're always great. Even the 50th time. There are so many other great movies I am leaving out, but know that if you like it then I will probably like it too and if I haven't seen it, sure I'll give it a shot.
Family Guy, Arrested Development, Entourage, Six Feet Under, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, 30 Rock, Everybody Hates Chris, How I Met Your Mother, The Match Game, Surface, Lost, That 70's Show, Weeds, The Office (UK and US), Extras, Grey's Anatomy, Scrubs, Reno 911, Chappelle's Show (you will be missed)
countless half reads. I really used to enjoy those books where you got choose the path of the story line by turning to different pages throughout the book. I would probably still enjoy them just as much today, but I haven't seen one of those in forever. The Secret Agent, The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin (old favorite) it's amazing that one person could do so much in their lifetime. It's Not How Good You Are, It's How Good You Want To Be (easy read, and an upper). I had to find out what all the talk was about, so my last two books have been The Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons. I have to say I really enjoyed them.
Anyone who stands up for what they believe in, and people who challenge themselves to be original.
