Hey everybody! How's it going. Well I'm Derek Belmont. I was born here in Norwalk, CA where I live now. I moved to Las Vegas when I was 5..where I was raised for 14 years. I graduated from the Las Vegas Academy of Performing Arts..my major being guitar. The guitar is the one thing I will say gives my life meaning. It is somethng I have always aspired to be one of the greats in..and always accomplished my ambitions thus far. Im back here in Norwalk now...though a personal trainer by day and just recently a bartender by night Im always following my dream...you only live once. I was just recently offered a seat at Musician's Institute this coming fall of 2008. This is where I hope to make it happen and am extremely confident this is my best move so far. Wish me luck..thanks!!! So besides the guitar I have really been into the fitness industry..I love keeping myself in shape. I have been going at it for 4 years now. Let me tell you. This kind of stuff doesn't just happen over night. Hard work always pays off. And anything else..I love the outdoors..anything out in the open air just having a good time. Im a chilled guy...gullable..thats for sure. Im shy to a point, especially when things matter. I try my very best to stay positive. I always stop and smell the flowers. And just remember, don't live a life of regrets. I try not to even though the past is how we learn..I try to take it for what it was and move on. I still wish I did some things different..I guess thats the beauty of life...you never know what kind of hand it will deal you..or what you will do with that hand. Just make the best of what you got...see what happens...take that chance...you might just land a royal flush. Would that be something! I guess life has showed me so far to be a "YES" kind of guy..so many "NO's" and you might miss out on the best stuff..I try and run with things now..it might be chaos to some..trust me it is to me..but the more I try to figure it out the more of a mess it becomes..I guess chaos is true balance..after all if we knew where we would be going, we would already have the answer huh.. Love the people who love you for who you are. And throw the other ones out. Love and trust everybody. Always. Forgive... Some come into our life to teach us a lesson...some come for a time...and some come forever..I guess the key is to be happy with what you got but take aim and shoot for the moon...the best part is, if you miss, you will be amoung the stars.. :) Anyways..hit me up...Im always down to chat.
