..Diversity, and originality are the words that best describe the music of LIL' LONDON aka L.S.G. Formerly known on the underground circuit as a member a Hip-Hop and R’n’B collective comprising of two other members (FUTURE & MACHAIRA) from Commonwealth, formerly signed to Edel Records. Together they completed a video called ‘Now Now’ which gained considerable airplay on Channel U. They also performed on the Sky Satellite Channel ‘Urban Nation’ as part of a competition hosted by All Saints member Melanie Blatt. They won two weeks running. When it was decided that the group should go to the states to pursue their career as a group, LIL' LONDON opted to stay in the UK and continue to build a name for herself. Despite this, the group continue to have a healthy working relationship as well as a close friendship. LIL' LONDON better known as L.S.G, has been working on a number of solo projects including a NU-JAZZ album entitled SINCERE, with up and coming producer and musical genius LLOYD PERRIN. As well as also working on an E.P with SUBLOW pioneer JON'E'CASH of the BLACK-OPS, LIL' LONDON/L.S.G has also been busy creating her forthcoming album SPLIT- PERSONALITY ...SPLIT-PERSONALITY: This album has been designed to showcase the raw talents of this versatile artiste, not only as a singer/songwriter but also as a 5ft"2 rapper, who has the lyrical contents & hard hitting flo's that would under-mind a lot of m.c's into contemplating their own worth within the game! With her creative and VERY witty word play, the way that L.S.G/LIL' LONDON attacks the beats with such honest bars, insures her ability to make people from all walks of life truly able to relate to & feel her music. SPLIT-PERSONALITY is currently in the process of being fine-tuned & when ready will be a perfect example of the SWAGGABILITY owed by the upbeat, charismatic, cartoon-like character. L.S.G... LIL' LONDON the singer, the songwriter, the rapper, and all-round entertainer! This same versatility has always defined the music and character of the dainty South Londoner, who has managed to infiltrate a number of sub-genres within the UK black music scene and continues to make her mark! The three words that make up the name L.S.G (LittleShadyGigglez) refer to her ‘Versatile’ abilities (‘Split Personality’). Such a unique attitude towards her music has led her to feature on a range of projects as varied as the Pure Garage: Main Sessions compilation CD in 2005 with a track entitled ‘AGAIN & AGAIN’ Produced by PALEFACE and released by WARNER BROTHER RECORDS, to the more recent hook up with LATIN-CLAN on the Raggaeton ALLSTARS compilation! Having started dancing at the tender age of six, and releasing her first underground vinyl at just fourteen entitled ‘It’s About My Life’, which was shortly followed up by a garage track (2NITE)... A very young L.S.G continued to stay strong & VERY determined to follow her dream! Despite the lack of support, guidance and facilities around her, L.S.G's STRONG desire to be a successful performer, meant that she has always been able to maintain her positivity & confidence within her career! L.S.G has grown up watching the industry evolve, and whilst biding her time for the right... TIME TO SHINE, she has taken every opportunity to learn more about the music business, mature vocally & explore her potential as a songwriter! ...Not to mention the various performances and competitions that she has taken part in! It is fair to say that LIL' LONDON aka L.S.G is a seasoned performer! In the past she has supported the likes of JOE BUDDEN @ Hackney Oceans, Glamma Kid @ Lewisham Theatre, & former SHAPE SHIFTER's vocalist KELLY-MARIE... LIL' LONDON has also performed @ MINISTRY of SOUNDS, LIVE! Suga Suga, Cargo’s, The Fridge, Fairfield halls, the Hard Rock Café, Stratford Rex, Side Winder, the ROYAL FESTIVAL HALL-as part of the Urban Music Seminar, CAFE' ROYAL -as one of the winners of 2007'S LONDON CITY SHOWCASE, and many MANY more! Due to her innate energy on stage, L.S.G has also been booked to MC @ Jungle events such as drum & Bass pioneers SKIBBA.D & SHABBA.D's MC-CONVENTION! LIL' LONDON/L.S.G has also been fortunate enough to take her sound aboard and perform in the likes of ITALY'S- CANTIERE 21, POLANDS- KLUB SIXTY.9, REFLEX in BELGIUM, and numerous clubs along NAPA's famous party strips! She has also made various television appearances including a documentary filmed in Cyprus, Aiya-Napa, for ITV Carlton based around the MC club circuit (2002), No Bling, B.E.N, Nation T.V, Passion TV & Channel U & others. LIL' LONDON'S change of name from L.S.G marks a musical evolution, and although she continues to rap she has been heavily involved in the House scene for some time! LIL'LONDON has recently written & recorded a track called MR SEDUCTION/DIRTY THOUGHTz... MR SEDUCTION/DIRTY THOUGHTz: When LIL' LONDON laid the vocal down on a hard-hitting, soca style beat, produced by a former MORE-FIRE CREW member DJ SEANY.B, They knew they had a potential banger on their hands! Being the ambitious, go getter that she is... LIL' LONDON then decided that she would produce, script, co-direct, style, organize & co-ordinate a music video to accompany the carnival anthem! LIL' LONDON is currently over seeing the post production of this video, which will be coming to a screen near you any day now! In addition to writing all of her own lyrics, rapping, singing, dancing, and owning an infectious laugh… LIL' LONDON aka L.S.G has shown a talent for acting and has been cast to play leading roles in a number of independent Films!!! LIL' LONDON is utilizing the experience that she is gaining in this field to build a show reel! LIL' LONDON/L.S.G is always interested in gaining further knowledge in the structure of the music industry and is currently working part time at I.M.T (Institute of Music Technology) aka Hurricane Studios.
