Sticky Flees was founded on 2007 by the guitarist Sticky D, at Almiros area in central Greece, when he was asked to form a band for a concert at his home village. Alexis Zorbas, from Athens, came first on rhythm guitars. Then, Fotis Tabas on vocals and Aggelos Triantos on drums joined the group and finally Vassilis Papantoniou from Thessaloniki, on bass, came to complete the band.
Since then they gave several concerts at the near area and in Volos as well, as a cover band where they made the city talk about Rock ’n’ Roll again, along with other local great bands (see our top friends)!
The musicality and the professional playing of the band gave them a big impact to continue making their own music, since Sticky D had a lot of ideas and semi finished songs collected all these years of his way through rock ‘n’ roll.
After Alexis left the band the final composition is a quartet with Fotis singing and playing rhythm guitar.
So, here they are! Rock‘n’Roll coming from a village in central Greece!
