About Me

Producer /DJ / Artist. Three words that sum up this up n coming producer. Instinct was born into music, a caribbean father and english mother, he was always exposed to many different musical styles from a very young age Ragga, Soca , Reggae, Soul, Classical, Pop, Country & Western, Jazz are all a stable part of Instincts unique sound brought about from these early years. Gaining his 1st radio show @ 17yrs old on Luton's biggest pirate radio station Flava Fm, DJ Bookings were coming in, but after years of playing the local cicuit, he wanted to take his skills further afield, he got himself a residency @ Hertfordshires most successful student night, spinning, Ragga, Hip Hop, RnB, Garage and Soulful House Music to over 1500 people every week. He gained much experience playing alongside some of the biggest DJ's In the UK , Tim Westwood, DJ 279,DJ EZ, The Sharp Boyz,Matt Jam Lamont & The Firin Squad to name a few. Not content with just being another DJ, he set his sights on production, so he moved to London an set about learning how to make beats, after 3 yrs of hard graft @ uni, the ball was well in motion. After hooking up with Ministry Of Sound resident DJ & Remixer Frankie Foncett, they worked together on some underground house music projects learning new skills every session. That year Instinct joined a band BIGNURSE who performed at venue's such as Barfly in Camden and Cargo in Shoreditch,2years later the band decided to part way's to persue solo projects. Instinct is today as versatile as ever, being a producer, writer,Vocalist, Photographer, & DJ Instinct is currently working on music for his band 'DE TROPIX' with Cherry B, And is also collaborating with some amazing UK & US Artists ..Watch This Space!!!Thanks for listening One Love
