The band was formed in late 2005 and some of the members hardly knew each other. Scott had just moved to the area and Robbie was quick to see the talent and passion he had for playing the guitar. This is when the foundations of what they would late call "Original Sin" were created. Steven Osbourne, the third member of the band, was their original bassist. Then Shaun Robinson, introduced by Robbie, became the rhythm guitarist. Finally, Robbie asked Shaun Smith (Knowing Shaun had experience, being in a band that had played to 500+ crowd) and he joined as vocalist.
Two songs were written by the band and Steven decided that the music genre just wasn't for him. The band were shocked at first but later understood his reasons for leaving.
The weeks went on and Original sin continued without a bassist and struggled to create a third song: "When the Pillars Crumble". At this time, the incredably sexy Jack Forshaw then stepped in as bassist. By this time the bands influences had started to open up into more genres and incorporated (and evolve) these styles into a range of songs that you can hear from the band now.
Since then, Original sin have played many gigs in the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough areas.
