Barry Patrick Kaczorowski.. AKA. [kaaz] ..was born in Winnipeg MB, April. 16th 1985. He grew up in the suburbs of Peg City, (Stonewall) raised by a single mother with his two older brothers. It didn't take very long for him to get introduced to music as he started playin his brother's guitar and keyboard as early as age nine and was listening to bands such as Rancid, the Misfits and the Sex Pistols by ten. At age twelve he began listening to Hip Hop (when he first heard 2pac's "All eyez on Me" album) and shortly after became a devoted hip hop fan, checkin out any emcee that he heard about. He then moved to tha east coast (Cape Breton Island) in 98' where he got his first acoustic guitar and started playin constantly, keepin his hip hop influences. He progressed very quickly and took intrest in blues guitar (Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton) and began to get serious about writing and playin music. In 2001 he moved to a small city south of Ottawa (Kemptville) where he first started writing an spittin' rhymes with friends but after just eight months moved back to Cape Breton. In 2002 he continued playin n creatin music (Blues, Rock, Rap) all through high school and afterwards moved back to Wpg. While in Manitoba, he recored his first hip hop track (Go Rehurse) in a friends basement using Windows Sound Recorder, a cheap computer mic and a Nas beat. He followed that song with numerous lo-fi recordings which were realeased on a mixtape in Wpg in 04' (LDC vol.1). He then moved back to Cape Breton in July of 05' and since has dropped two 13 track lo-fi Mixtapes (1st in oct. 05', and the 2nd in mar. 06') with numerous productions credited to himself. He is currently living in Wpg, working on a new acoustic album with Icis Nizz along with his debut LP, both to be released through Underdim Records.
