CURRENT MOON moon phases
First - and foremost: I was born with a congenital case of curiosity. Seems to be the reason I am interested in soooo many things:
Gemology, gemstones, crystals, minerals, rocks, jewelry (I do custom pieces, and bench repairs), spirituality, metaphysics, tarot, journaling, astrology, astronomy, numerology, dreams, dream interpretation, synchronicity, coincidence, serendipity, intuition, travel, reading, photography, animals, chocolate labs, weimaraners, maine coons, boston terriers, coffee, hedonism, steam punk, charity, comedy, music, evolution, history, poetry, erotica, erotic poetry, corsets, nerds, freaks, tattoos, piercings, bondage, bdsm, sex, polyamory, art, wine, thunderstorms, meditation, sleeping, books, writing, candles, incense, public speaking, history, camping (and floating), traveling abroad, road trips, rivers, helping others, criminal forensic science, microscopes, Earth, all things shiny, world issues, global politics, and far too many others to list!
Good people... kind people... people who are genuine... people who are open-minded and also open to new possibilities... people who love poking fun at the idiocy of today's society as much as I do. There are so many different kinds of people I would love to meet.
I am new to Quincy, IL - and I am finding it hard to find people I have things in common with!!!
As far as famous people go?
Edwin McCain - he has a voice that captivates me in ways I didn't know were possible.
Steve Wozniak & Stephen Hawking - the two most brilliant men on the face of this planet.
Lewis Black - he makes you laugh, and think at the same time.
Ani DiFranco - she inspires me greatly.
So many..... Edwin McCain, Ani DiFranco, Pearl Jam, The Cure (mmmm), Neurosonic, Tantric, Amy Winehouse, Adele, Refused, Rage Against the Machine, Tool, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Paul Simon, James Taylor, Etta James, Billie Holiday, Victor Wooten, Spooky (I miss you guys), Joss Stone, White Zombie, Metallica, 80's hair bands (hahaha), Sublime, some country, some rap and hip hop, Marc Broussard, Blue October, October Project, Los Lonely Boys (miss you guys, too), Tori Amos, String Cheese Incident, Damien Rice (Thank you, Daniel), MOE, Willie Nelson, Nickel Creek, Bob Marley, Allison Krauss, Beastie Boys, Hosty Trio, Steve Miller Band, Cypress Hill, Eminem, Morcheeba (Trigger Hippie, baby!), Phunk Junkeez, Tenacious D, Snoop Dogg...
Anything with intelligent humor. Anything that makes you use your brain. Anything which brings about honest emotion. There are so many that I love... I cannot begin to list them all. I am always up for a good movie!
Don't watch as much as I should, but I tend to love Forensic Files, and all of the other nerdy scientific shows I can find! The History, Discovery, and National Geographic channels are a must in my home! I would rather be outside... but those work if I am in the mood for the boob tube.

"And the first thing that I think of
are her sympathetic eyes -
that see with only positive emotion.
And she talks of being grumpy,

And I soak up all her beauty
'cause I'm only here awhile."
