Hey! Dead Police Story Music is an anarchist DIY label/collective currently based in Ottawa, Canada. You can find us at shows listed on this one or the Cap'n Kop$' Myspace. Influences: the people who pull over when you are hitching somewhere to give you $20 just to help out. THe people who throw what they can into a busker's hat. The kids who busk all day so that they can afford to get into a show. The bands that tirelessly throw their time, money, and themselves into this life, to living in a van for weeks or months at a time so that more kids can hear their creations. All of the kids who go broke trying to put on shows in their small towns. The street artists who create the urban canvas that I pass by whenever I walk the streets of Montreal. The artists in the lowbrow world, they have come a long way. Anyone can influence anyone. DIY FOR LIFE!!
