ADORE ME

About Me

The first time I heard MADONNA was on April 5th, 1991. I was six years old. As soon as I heard her, something inside of me told me that I could do what she does when I grew up. I took piano lessons for a whole year and then my parents bought me my first synthesiser (Casio PT-80). Soon after, I stopped taking piano lessons because my piano teacher did'nt know how to play or program the synthesiser, so I had to teach myself. I spent years teaching myself how to write music and sing.I started to read everything on the music industry I could at a very young age. I spent a lot of time reading blogs and articles by certain music industry professionals all the while working on my talent and looks. I subscribed to a lot of music magazines including those magazines that didn't really have to do with the the type of music that I perform just to become more rounded as a performer and because my fans and family said that I sounded like MADONNA and BLONDIE. Even though MADONNA is my idol, I don't want to sound too much like her. I have worked very hard to created my own music and fashion. In my Junior year of high school, I came in second place for our class in the yearly talent show and then was asked to perform at a Bar Mitzvah. Since then, I have picked up several other gigs for other parties (to help pay the bills and with past recordings). I have also been interviewed by several magazines as well as other certain music industry professionals. I also met my idol, MADONNA at Starbucks (where I do my 'day' job). I gave MADONNA my CD and she said that she'll listen to it. I also met the American Idol judges when I tried out in NYC. I didn't get the golden ticket. Simon told me that I wasn't what they're "looking for", Paula just sat there and rolled her eyes, but Randy said that I was very, very pretty and that gave me the drive to keep on going with my music. I know what it's like to be rejected by certain music industry professionals but everytime I just pick myself up off the floor or bed and keep on going.I do ALL the singing, keyboards and drum machine programming. I also play piano and some guitar and some bass. I also find loops and samples on the internet and put them in my music. I take good loops and samples make them great! I also do my own beats and sometime beat box. I am also interested in Eskimo throat singing.I am not looking for a band to join, I CREATE my OWN MUSIC. I always have people asking my to join their band but I am to tell them, "No!" I am trying to make it on my own without the help of anyone or being a singer for any stupid band. I need to be in front with my fans. I know that I have the looks, the talent and connections to pull it off and become the next big thing! Although I am not looking for musicians, I am looking for producers and studio engineers to help me in the studio and when I say "help", I mean just that because I need to be in control of my music and I don't want need any producer or soundman trying to tell me what I should and shouldn't do. I have seen the seedy and ugly side of the music industry. I have learned from my mistakes that people will use you. Unfortunately, I know about the evil lies that certain music industry professionals, managers, producers, engineers, writers, studio-musicians, soundmen, and technicians will say & promises they'll make just to sleep with you because you are talanted and good-looking. Certain music industry professionals will promise you one thing and not come through with their promises. The music industry is a dog eat dog world and no one is going to eat me.I got a laptop for my birthday and I bought some music recording software and taught myself how to use it. I also used my experience from what I learned in the studio. Although I'm recording on a laptop, I think the songs that I've recorded sound better than anything than I've done in the studio and it's a lot cheaper than studio time and I can protect my mind, my music and my body from certain professionals in the music industry.
