About Me

Well, the song playing pretty much sums up my last 10 years. FYI, that's me singing and playing the piano on a song (L.A. My Lady)I wrote the music and lyrics to. I'm trying to go out less these days and focus more on work. The party will always be there, but the career opportunites won't. I've been a bit of a health nut lately. I wake up at 6:30am, hike up to the Hollywood sign as the sun rises, and then look out over the city and give thanks for the beauty. I love my work, which normally takes me to Canada half the year. Somehow I've made a career of TV movies and they all seem to shoot up there. This site is for my actual friends and people I know, not a fan site. For more pics of me as well as video clips and my full cd visit my website - davidlipper.com.

My Interests

I love sports, especially hockey. I still play music and write the occasional song. I love white sand beaches and am always up to climb a moutain.

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet someone who is attractive, but not so insecure that she needs to hear it 5 times a day. Who is smart and sexy and doesn't need to hide either. She is happy with who she is and trusting enough to let me show who I am.

Music:

I love good music, no matter the genre. Favorites include: Steely Dan, Zeppelin, Floyd, Springstein, Young, U2, Oakenfeld, Digweed, Van Dyk, and many many more. Hey, I even like Styx and Journey.

Shawshank Redemption, The Frisco Kid, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Braveheart, Godfather (1&2), Greese, Scarface, American Beauty, Office Space, Casablanca, Love Story, About Last night, Risky Business, LOR trilogy, Star Wars/Empire, City Of God, Jerry Maguire, Goodfellas, The Freshman, Breakfast Club, A Walk To Remember, Y Tu Mama Tambien, A Clockwork Orange, Full Metal Jacket, True Romance, Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, The Big Picture, Big Fish

All of Hermann Hesse (especially Narcissus and Goldmund), all of Ayn Rand (especially Atlas Shrugged), Catcher in The Rye, Less Than Zero, A Separate Peace, The Source, Cats Cradle, The World Is Flat, Of Mice and Men, and many more
