MORE TIME
More Time executes a full repertoire of Reggae and Calypso tunes penned by it's leader, Bibs Goff, and classic reggae from Marley, Tosh, and others, also traditional calypso numbers. The Band is known for its hard-driving original big-band arrangements with jazz and Afro-Carib overtones.
Bibs Goff is a native Belizean, well known in Eugene, Oregon and the Northwest U.S. for his significant 20 year contribution to the cultural diversity of its music scene.
Goff has worked professionally in music since 1969. In Belize he was a member of The Lord Rhadburn Band, The Chosen Ones and the Vibrations. Since arriving in the Northwest he has played long term with Tropical Rainstorm, Caracas, Native Pulse, Roots Connection, Arousing Spirit and More Time. He founded Moe Time in the 1980's.
Bibs has conducted drum workshops under the auspices of the Community Center for the Performing Arts, and continues to teach drum and percussion on an individual basis. For 20 years he has been widely recognized, in the Northwest and in Belize, as a master drummer and percussionist, and has received accolades for his great calypso rhythm guitar work.
