The Art of Keeping Silent began in 2004 with Clément (bass), Mathieu (drums) and Julien (guitar). After dozens of jam sessions, we have decided to move towards a bastard musical identity who drifts between Hard-core, punk, metal, rock and Grind. Cedric (vocals) joined the group early 2005. A few months later, the group gave birth to "Prémices" 3 titles demo CD. End 2005, Thomas (guitar) completes the combo. Then follow several lives with among others Zubrowska, , General Lee, Grub, Every Reason To, Altess, Frrt, Autist, Slavery, My Severed Pieces, Sickbag ... We record in December 2006 for the Split CD "Ocean of Ashes." The band splits mid 2007 after the departure of Thomas and then Cedric. Fabien (vocals) comes into the group in November 2007.

The Art of Keeping Silent a vu le jour en 2004 avec Clément (bass), Mathieu (drums) et Julien (guitar). Après des dizaines de jam sessions, nous décidons d’évoluer vers une identite musicale batarde qui oscille entre Hard-core, Punk, Métal, Rock et Grind. Cedric (vocals) intègre le groupe début 2005. Quelques mois de gestation plus tard, le groupe donne naissance à « Prémices » démo 3 titres. Fin 2005, Thomas (guitar) complète le combo. S’en suivent plusieurs lives avec entre autres Zubrowska, General Lee, Grub, Every Reason To, Altess, Frrt, Autist, Slavery, My Severed Pieces, Sickbag … Nous enregistrons en Décembre 2006 pour le Split CD « Océan of Ashes ». Le groupe splitte mi 2007 suite aux départs de Thomas puis de Cedric. Fabien (vocals) rentre dans le groupe en Novembre 2007.

Il serait judicieux de donner une suite à ces Prémices, j’adhère totalement et je conseille ce groupe aux fans de hardcore chaotique…..
