While I prefer the entertainment industry, I love a good challenge. I can handle weddings, and am willing to go the extra mile if your wedding is going to be a little bit different.Keep that in mind: I love "Different".Check out my site to make sure my work suits your needs/desires and send me a message. I'd be happy to talk to you about it. My contact info is all over this page.
If you want to add me:Despite having howevermany myspace-friends, I'm actually stingy about who I add... Please take some time to talk to me. I'll deny any add requests that come from people who haven't at least sent me a message and I tend to only approve people who I've met in person.
About my Photography
I am a self taught artist and photographer who focuses mainly on members of the music and entertainment industry.Based out of the Philadelphia metro area, I tend to cover mostly concerts in New York City and Atlantic City. My skills were hewn working as a photographer for the R&B Showcase Magazine, of which now I am the chief staff photographer.
I enjoy contrast and low key portraits often with interesting and unique lighting. Having to work fast when backstage has fostered a unique and improvisational method of quickly lighting subjects with what is available to me. I bring this into my promotional and portrait work to assure a different look while working fast and having fun with my subjects.
My photography is influenced by several of the great artists of the past and many of today’s modern photographers, most of whom worked for Rolling Stone. If you see emotion evocative of a Annie Leibovitz polaroid, a form lit strikingly like one Herb Ritts might have made or a contrasted landscape in the Ansel Adams style, you’d be right on the mark. Add in the surreal influences of Dali and the color use of Van Eich and you have for some interesting works. I learned through imitation but experimentation and innovation have molded these influences into something unique.
Please, visit my site. If you’d like to set up a consultation, you can email me on Myspace or Kenazz
