So the other day I'm driving back to my apartment, and I get to this major intersection, right by my house, and as I pull up and stop I see this crow out in the middle of the intersection...you know, like someone hit it with their car and now it's too stunned to fly... So, as I go to open my car door and try to get out and help this poor bird, the guy next to me (who was already at the intersection when I pulled up). Jumps out of his car and starts running over to help this bird! And since now I can't do anything but sit there and wait, I roll down the window and yell to this guy, "Save the Bird!!" (as encouragment: )
And he goes out and just scoops it up, and carrys it outa the street to safety. By then, I'm thinking, this is the coolest dude ever, he just risked his life to save this lil bird; so I yell outa my car again, "YOUR MY HERO!!!!" So that way he knows, I think what he did was a real kickass thing.
And as the light turned green, and I drove away, I thought: You know, I will probebly never see this dude again, and for that matter, the bird. But I just witnessed someone helpin out one of the ugliest birds God chose to make, and he didn't even have to help it, he just did. And I thought it was so cool that this guy's story had to be told, because that's what makes bein alive SO VERY GREAT!
