About Me

Updated 4/12/08- I am Amber with Figmental Records. You may know who I am, you may not. I love music and love local music even more. I have no real talent when it comes to music, so I show my love by helping it grow. Helping the local scene become something more than a cut thoart town. At figmental we only work with those that have the same dream and work just as hard as we do for that dream. I take the same stand in my personal life. Feel free to check out some of the bands. And if you like what you hear and come to a show, I bet you will find me there too! Now personally, I will keep this simple as possible. Things that are important to me are; My son, my family, my friends, and local music. I am caring, loyal, bitchy, bossy, hard headed, blunt, honest, gentle, loving, generous, witty, smart, goober'ish and funny. I typically don't back down to anyone and work hard. I am cool with anyone until they disturb my peace or I feel a lack a respect. I love tattoos and have 3 right now with more to come. Also I have the center of my lower lip pierced... I did have this long paragraph about me on here, but for right now short and sweet is good. :P If you want to know more about me check out my cosmic profile in my blog, bc it is pretty damn accurate or ask me.( And yes, I am a Redskins fan!)

My Interests

Spending time with my son, hanging out with good friends, video games (LOVE HALO), anything outdoors, local bands, concerts, sports (soccer, hockey, football, etc), and really anything that means you can have a good time. From sitting on the couch to going wild on a Friday night.

I'd like to meet:

People who are not ignorant, are loyal and caring. In other words, bring something to the table...haha. NO DRAMA PLEASE! I am not in high school anymore :P If you just send me a friend request I WILL DENY YOU!! Please please don't think I am on here to have as many friends as possible... either I have to know in real life.. Or you are cool enough that I would like to know you in real life! And a friend request is not going to cut it!! And don't message me with "Hey baby" either... Have more respect for me then that!! If I sound like a bitch here I am sorry, but really... ATTENTION BANDS! If you would like me or FMR to check you out, please do NOT send a friend request. Send me a message, introduce yourself and start a conversation. Then we can go from there. Also I will not jump on a band's friends list just because. Please make sure I know you. :)

Music:

I love ALL music. It is my passion, but rock is my love! Fav bands- Faith No More, Drowning Pool, Korn, Nickelback, Limp Bizkit (old school), The Doors, Steve Miller Band, Green Day, Blink 182, Rancid, Dave Matthews, Silver Chair, 3 Doors Down, Big Wreck, Alice in Chains, Sound Garden, NIN, OAR, and many more. I could go on and on! Local Bands- the dreamscapes project, Envy Insane, BOB, The Chuck Shaffer Picture Show, Along Those Lines, and NUMA, just for starters. :)

Movies:

TRANSFORMERS IS MY NUMBER 1!!! Major League, Tarzan, Matrix, Man on Fire, Click, Presuit of Happyness, Clash of the Titains, Ever After, Mrs. Doubtfire, Grandma's Boys, Van Wilder, Just Friends, The Replacments, Shawn of the Dead, and... well I could go on and on...lol

Television:

Bones LOST, Black Donnelly's, House, Battlestar, Heroes, Grey's Anatomy, Studio 60, Scrubs, Friday Night Lights, SVU, CI, CSI, October Road, Family Guy and I think that is it...lol.

Books:

Buck Skin Girl, Hitch Hiker's Guide, She Who Remembers, Written on The Body, Sunshine, Every Fixed Star, Dante's Girl, Last Angel and anything by Nicholas Sparks, plus more...
