My wife and I are either going to buy a dog or have a child. We can't decide whether to ruin our car

About Me

I'm 28 years old and very happily married to my wonderful wife Laura . We've been married for over 2 years and have been together over 10 years. We have a happy little life with our cats Smokey and Lucy. I work for a non-profit veterinary organization.
I consider my personality to be somewhat bipolar, bouncing randomly between Will Ferrell and Eeyore. I'm afraid of heights and have an unhealthy obsession with cheese and peanut butter.
My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a fifteen year old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanize, he would drink, he would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Some times he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy, the sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. My childhood was typical, summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When I was insolent I was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds, pretty standard really. At the age of 12 I received my first scribe. At the age of fourteen, a Zoroastrian named Vilma ritualistically shaved my testicles. There really is nothing like a shorn scrotum, it's breathtaking, I suggest you try it.
I'm an idealist and a pacifist; a storyteller and a dreamer; spacy and extraverted; eccentric and offbeat. I try tobe amicable, agreeable, patient, tolerant, accepting and grateful. I'm open about my feelings and ruled by myemotions. To me, feelings are just as important as facts. I identify well with the plight of others. I think that Iam intuitive, social, funny, warm hearted, generous and amiable. I see myself as nostalgic and sentimental. I liketo think that I am principled, spiritual, easy going, imaginitive, spontaneous, sympathetic and adapting. I believethat I come across as whimsical and easy to approach. Deadlines are of relative importance to me and I'm not overlyconcerned with details. I like things to be unstructured and unscheduled. I help others asking for nothing in returnand I like to talk to strangers. I also like to think of as my lucky number.
I got a numerology & astrology profile and I think it couldn't have been more right. Here's what it said aboutme:
You want peace and harmony in all aspects of your life. You want to devote your life to someone or something. Youfall in love easily. You are extremely sensitive and emotional. You can be sentimental and you cry at sad stories. You need friends and society. You appreciate the refinements of life. You desire comfort and security. You haverefined taste, and can be a connoisseur. You love music and possess a good deal of musical talent. Your sensitivityis actually a symptom of your highly developed intuition. But you must learn to trust it. You are a gentle soul andshy away from confrontation as long as possible. You experience a battle within when you do not believe you canhandle a situation; this may have a paralyzing effect on you. You prefer to give in when you should assert yourself. You must learn to be more decisive. Very often, you are afraid to use your own power in the face of someone else'saggressiveness. You incorrectly perceive yourself to be in a weaker position; you may ultimately give in merely toavoid a fight. Conversely, you are extremely diplomatic and tactful. You like to accomplish things through quietpersuasion. You dislike force. You have to fight uncertainty and doubt. You need to develop confidence and awillingness to stand up for what you believe to be right. You function best in a supportive role, guiding the morepublic person in quiet, unobtrusive, yet essential ways.
I'm disappointed with the state of the country. Not just because I'm a Democrat, but because it's a mess. If Iwere the almighty decider, we'd have universal healthcare, spend our money on schools, help the homeless, save theenvironment, protect the right to choose, get guns and harmful drugs off the streets, let people marry whoever makesthem happy, hand out birth control in schools and give tax relief to the poor. I'd keep God in the National Anthemand teach evolution in schools. Of course, we'd also have a year-round Friday Night Concert Series on the WhiteHouse lawn sponsored by Crown Royal.

It's The End Of The World As We Know It

We all know that, eventually, mankind is going to die off.  Perhaps it will be by our own hands via nuclear war, by global warming, when God comes calling on Judgment Day or some other unforeseen...

The Soundtrack of My Life
