Dj Showtyme aka shaney bling(Shane) was born in Montego bay , Jamaica, on nov 5 1985. He astonishingly surpass majority of the students in his school Barracks Rd Primary n excelled to a higher learning facility by the age of 11. At the age of 14 he started developing a certain love for music which involved playing for an audience. He was then discover by a older professional dj known as Prince of Prince world which was originally from Texas. Showtyme was taught majority of the knowledge he has abt foundation music was respect by older folks for having this gift of entertainment at such a young age. Showtyme then departed form Prince World at the age of 15 n began booking his own shows. These shows involved Street Dances, House parties, Clubs n Even strip Clubs.
He then left Jamaica at the age of 17 n came of the U.S.A. He resided in Jamaica Queens New York. He began playing music with the sound system known as Arising, alongside dj action, dj smokiy b, Joe young, Death wish, Mighty Crown, Massive B, Stone love, Steely Basment, troopa Chulupa, No apology, Nah laugh, Vybz Machine , Msic Machine n many others. Showtyme then left Arising at the age of 21 n Went solo. He then got a contract in Philidephia where is name was change from "Student" to "Showtyme." At the age of 21 Showtyme Also started workin for CHEF GARFIELD'S GENESIS 1 Restaurant in Jamaica Queens where he was taught the culinary arts. A year n a half later he got promoted to "HEAD CHEF". 5 months into his PHilly contract and showtyme decided he was better off being solo , So his contarct was cancelled. At the Age of 22 Showtyme N Slackness Founded the SHowtyme n Slacness Ent. Dj Showtyme is currently engaged in Song writing n Music Production. His first album entitled "Showtyme to the UNiverse" is in process n should be out late summer.
