Dollythesheep has been establishing on late August 2004 with formerly lines-up are Shariman (guitar, vocal), Firdaus (guitar, vocal), Faizal Afandi (bass) and Khairul Izman (drum). Name “Dolly” was taken from the first animal clone in the world, for them name is not important but Music is the main aspect to release the good creativity song. In April 2005, They found Faryantie as a Keyboardist, joining Yantie in Dollythesheep makes many changes in Dolly‘s music. As long they has been together, their music have been influence from indie and powerpop genre. With some influence likeOzma, Weezer, The Rentals, Rooney, Grandaddy, The Get Up Kids and Reggie and The Full Effect. The New Releasing demo on their debut “Geek and Rare Roll, baby”, has been release in March 2006 with 5 interesting tracks like Wasting Time, Kertas Putih, Kisah Cinta, Be Mine and The Saddest Song.
