Growing up as a shy, quiet sandy-headed girl in Torrance California, Jasmine Winters was surrounded by music through her parents who are both musicians. It was at this young age that she developed an interest in what would eventually become her passion, music.
At the age of five, Jasmines talent was soon revealed. While traveling to rehearsal with her mom, Jasmine sang along with the music playing in the car. Hitting every note, it wasn’t until her mother turned down the music and discovered Jasmines genuine, unique and powerful voice rare in children her age. Amazed she quickly entered Jasmine in the South Shores Magnet Performing Arts School. There Jasmine prolonged her talent landing a lead role in the musical play titled “Oliver.†She quoted “When I was on stage, I felt higher than life it self. At that moment I knew this was my true callingâ€.
Shortly after, she toured with Thump Records playing hundreds of shows a year for 2 years, selling a combined 3000 physical copies of her first compilation record. Jasmine has been featured in the “Industry Magazine,†album Deep House 3 “If You Want My Love,†and Power 106 “You’re the One for Me with Mr. Capone-e.
As a prolific Pop/ R&B singer/songwriter Jasmine’s heart and soul is heard through her unique style of music. From a defiant girl with her song titled “I’m About To Go Off,†to a break my heart girl with her song titled “Not Worthy,†to finding the true meaning in the wheels of life with her song titled “Diamond In Me,†Jasmine is bound to take you on a delightful ride.
Jasmine has performed as an opening act for Bone Thugs, Big Sloan, Thin-C, Wu-tang Clan, Tone-Loc, Cuete, and Resorvoire Dogs.
