About Me

Slideshow- Artwork of Krista Huot: Awesome mixed media on birch/vector art.

HAHA THE THEIF IS CAUGHT. WHAT A MORON. I SAY CAPITAL PUNISHMENT FOR THE THEFT OF LORI EARLEY'S WORK. THE PICTURES STILL AREN'T FOUND THOUGH....Hey, my name is Sawyer and this is the "About Me" section, so here's what I'm all about... Drawing mainly. Illustration and fine art are the greatest practices in the world. I appreciate anyone who makes a career out of it or even just a serious hobby. Personally, my weapon of choice is colored pencils, but I'd say my favorite artists tend to be oil and acrylic painters, of which I intend to pick up as well. I'm currently working on a series of drawings that will revolutionize my personal work. There are a lot of them, and no one gets to see them until they're all done, and that won't be until December probably. Hopefully sooner. But yea, I just achieved control over my personal style, so I'm letting it loose onto roughly twenty 11x14" drawings. Besides drawing, and artsy stuff, I love bein in the great outdoors. Camping, backpacking, hiking, boating, atvs... anything, love it. I make a point to hike the Mojave desert at least once a year and I will take any opportunity to travel and see the world. Sadly that hasn't been much though, but I think I'll be making a trip to Japan in 2009. Besides drawing and running around outside, I have other nerdy hobbies. I have my share of Nintendo and PC games. I have an obsession with snakes, and reptiles in general, but yea, can't wait to get a pet snake. Now I'll just take a moment to list some things I find amazing: 1. Mangos 2. Melodic Death Metal 3. Japanese Lolita Fashion Chicks and Ball Joint Dolls 4. Pop Surrealism 5. Submarines 6. Alice in Wonderland 7. Prismacolor Colored Pencils 8. Kirby Superstar 9. Rodney Mullen 10. Color Theory. Thank you for reading, now please take a moment to familiarize yourself with my heroes section. They are all really cool people, and they're work is amazing!!
