In 2005 the 2nd Wind project was initiated by four seasoned musicians; Shawn McLemore (singer/songwriter), Ray Nulf (guitarist), Jerry Kinser (bassist) and Pete Neuville (drummer) who set out to create music composed of a raw, cutting edge sound with true-to-life lyrics. After years of playing the Kansas club scene, the time was right for these four colleagues to collaborate on a project. Careful planning went into the objective and after months of writing, arranging and experimenting, recording began at Nulfster Studio in Hutchinson, Kansas. The main goal of the project's members was to successfully produce, record and master the album as a complete in-house production. What they have created is a raw, guitar driven sound that has not been heard since the late 70's and early 80's.
The members of the 2nd Wind project would like to thank their families for their patience and support during the completion of this album.
