About Me

I am Chris Wood. I am 21 years old and live in Montevallo, AL. I am a Tuscaloosa native, however. I have been playing the guitar for about 6 years now, and somewhere along the road picked up a little banjo, and mandolin. I like to write lyrics and music and then out them together to make songs. Hopefully they are enjoyable, but if not, I apologize in advance. Music is one of the biggest passions in my life and always has been even since my wee days as an elementary school choir member. Music doesn't define me though. I just use it as an outlet for my thoughts, struggles, experiences, and conversations. In addition to loving music, I am also a social science major and enjoy all sorts of humanities (i.e. history and sociology...). My plan is to graduate from the University of Montevallo here after this year and then get my Master's and start teaching. So, that's a little about me. Hope you, whoever you are, enjoy the music. Peace. CHRIS

So, this weekend was the culmination of the past stressful week (weeks) of musical rehearsel.  The Mikado went awesome, many people came and there was much laughter involved!  Thanks if you ...
