The brain child of the disillusioned youth of the North London metal scene. With music drifting further and further into irrelevance and metal on the bigger scale becoming largely susceptible to corruption through record labels' drive for profits, something grass roots was needed. Something where bands didn't have to worry whether their video is MTV friendly or if their records would be played on Capital FM thus ensuring PROFIT. Metal Brew is where bands come down and give it their all, then party like animals into the night. 2004's 'Brew went down a storm, and thus the formula was layed down for an annual event. Late 2004, Metal was dealt an enormous blow with the loss of Dimebag Darrel of Pantera and so 2005 was for that warrior passed.
Everyone has been astounded with the public's (and council's) reaction and support to previous Metal Brews, and this is pushing us on to make 2006 bigger and better. It was. Now it's time for 2007! It's all bloody go over here.
We will keep this page updated as much as possible with all the info on Metal Brew and any 'Mini-Brews' that happen, so keep checking! We'll let you know the score really.
