About Me

I'm a regular dude in every sense of the word. I love people and love to make new friends, so I hope to hear from ya soon. I don't really know what to put here, but if ya really want to learn more about me, the best way to do so is by going to my website. It's full of pictures and I suppose some pretty boring information, lol. The link is:http://www.geocities.com/impaladude_2001/RandallsFrontPag e.html?982679139960.Otherwise, here's a little info. I was raised very deep in the Ozark Mountains, about 3 miles from the Buffalo River "as the crow flies." I still retain some of my country roots, although I've lived in the Little Rock area for the past 14 or 15 years. I was raised by two very "salt of the earth" humble, loving and caring parents who taught me that we are all just people on this planet. I'm not better than anyone on this earth, but no one on this earth is better than me, either. I don't fall into the category of thinking that because someone drives a more expensive car or wears a more expensive shirt than the guy next to him, that he's a better person or friend. Friends come in all races, all sexes, all income brackets, and all physical appearances. Isn't good friends what it's all about? We're still made out of the same dirt. I'm really just a simple but unique guy who just wants to meet people and make friends to walk through life with. Yahoo instant messenger as - Impaladude_2001

My Interests

Music, being outside, camping, the lake, old cars, yardwork, pets, hanging out with friends, biking, clubbing, travel, going to eat, chatting, meeting new people, whatever comes along........

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet people to be friends with, hang out with, go to the club with, travel with, go to the lake with. In other words, fun, good friends. Fun doesn't mean sex. I'm a very laid back person and really am usually just as satisfied flipping channels on the tube as doing anything else this time of year. In the spring to fall, I am usually outside doing something. I love meeting new people!

Music:

I listen to most all music. Seems like a person couldn't really call him or herself a music fan if he/she only listens to one or two types of music. I love everything from disco to blues to alternative to classic rock to top 40 to dance to old country to Christian. Green Day, Nickelback, Default, Celine Dion, Faith Hill, Usher, Bee Gees, Beatles, Taylor Dayne, Tracy Chapman, Justin Timberlake, Rob Thomas, CCR, REO Speedwagon, Gwen Stefani, on and on and on. Favorite band, probably the Doors, favorite vocalist, male or female, hands down, Tammy Wynette. I love singers with distinctive voices, the ones where you hear one note and you know who it is. John Lennon, Josh Groban, Cher (how gay), Jim Morrison, to name a few. Tammy is at the very top of that list. Her voice is, if I may use a quote from a popular magazine, "one of the most emotional instruments in the annals of recorded music history."

Movies:

Not a huge movie watcher. They don't tend to hold my attention. Some movies I like: "Latter Days," "Contact," "Hush, Hush Sweet Charlotte," "Sordid Lives," "The Doors," "Mommie Dearest," "Jurassic Park" (dinos have always fascinated me), "Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion," "The Brady Bunch Movie," I even liked the "Blair Witch Project," lol..........

Television:

I'm sometimes a channel flipper. I love old sitcoms like "Good Times," "Maude," and "All In The Family." "Roseanne" is good. I love watching nature shows, things on Discovery and TLC, HGTV, History Channel, TVLand, and I also love British Comedies like "Keeping Up Appearances," "Ab Fab," "The Kumars at No. 42," and "Being Served." Some reality shows, "How Clean Is Your House" is funny as heck.
