The history of hand-made jewelry in Turkey is rich, diverse and passionate and has always been highly valued throughout Eurasia and the Middle East, whether it was for gold, sterling silver or gemstone pieces.Modern Turkish jewelry designers draw from a tradition in fine craftsmanship that dates back to some of the oldest civilizations in the world:Anatolian, Hittite, Mediterranean, Mesopotamian, Ottoman, Roman and Byzantium.Archeological studies have shown that the wealthiest women of Constantinople (modern-day Istanbul) and the legendary Troy of ancient Anatolia wore intricate and glamorous hand-made jewelry for the purposes of protection against evil, beautification and as a celebration of life and fertility.
Eren Sky captures the glory of dynasties past, hand-crafting molds of gold to elegantly cradle only the most exquisite gems.

ABOUT Eren Sky . . .Only the most gifted artist
can turn precious metals and minerals
into a family heirloom
or a signature piece for the rich and famous.
Sky began his career in jewelry design
at the young age of fifteen as an apprentice for highly sought,
master jewelers in the gold bazaars of Istanbul, Turkey.
Noticed by his superiors for his artistic eye
and skill in creating unique and captivating designs,
Sky was given increasing responsibility until,
at age 19, he began being commissioned for high-end pieces under his own name.
Not long afterwards, however,
Sky was drafted into the Turkish military
where he was trained in anti-terrorist operations
for the purpose of leading Special Forces
teams through rugged and inhospitable terrain across Turkey.
Upon honorable discharge from serving his country,
an old-friend in the jewelry business persuaded Sky
that his creative talents would be highly appreciated
and valued abroad in the United States,
where the availability of finely crafted, hand-made jewelry was in short supply.
On that advice, Sky left his native country and arrived in North Florida in 2002.
He quickly made a name for himself, gaining several celebrity clients from South Florida and Atlanta.
In 2004, he relocated to Atlanta, Georgia finding a niche creating oversized “bling†for ATL hip-hop stars.
In addition to the
“dirty south’s†well-known rap artists
and industry promoters,
professional NFL and NBA athletes
can also be seen showcasing one-of-a-kind Eren Sky
designs.
