I moved here to Charlotte from Orlando in 2001 quickly jumping into the party scene I hosted several successful events all over Charlotte;Tonic,Vertigo,Ibiza and XCalibur. These events spanned from Sept 01'- May 02'. After some bad issues w/ a club I decided it was time to move on and concentrate on my love for music. 03' was my breakout year when I emerged as a "main room" DJ often tag teaming w/ then partner DJ Fla-Less dropping funky nuskool and electro breaks. SolSonic could be seen on just about every major event from 03'- 06'In 2004 I met Matthew Lareoux aka LroyX and our mutual feelings for the music led us to create our now well known DJ Crew the "Word on the Street"
Members Include: SolSonic,LroyX,Tron,Greenway,Casey,Kaotika and Splitwire.Djing all over the SouthEast for the last 4yrs I have met alot of great friends and cool people. In Dec 2005 I decided to buy a house in Charlotte to get closer to the action and nightlife of the Queen City.In July of 06' I started hosting a breakbeat monthly of sorts at Eden/Lava bringing Charlotte back an EDM scene. The OutBreak parties support local DJS trying to get their sound heard and you should try to check one out.Also for people that have heard me play live but havent heard me in a while I still play funky/progressive/tech-funk breaks but have been into the big bassline line sound of electro house. There is no denying this sound, electro-house is high energy, very sexxy and with some nasty bass!Studio:Yes! I have built up a nice little setup to work with at home. I am currently working on a few projects that I am very happy with and will be ready for some ears very soon. I am open to working on a variety of genres with partners if you are interested in spinning or working on some tunage hit me upIm here to have a goood time. I love music, nightlife, entertaining, beautiful people who are'nt about the drama.
