About Me

I guess being a gay parent is the most unique thing about me and I'm also the author of my own personal zine, BerZerker . Other ancillary information: I'm a PS3 game programmer, live in Seattle, pretty outgoing and witty I suppose. In person I'm a pretty settled-down, normal kinda guy, but I tend to be a little wilder and more open online. Not that I'm a different person or a poser online -- just the opposite -- I'm quite honest about myself here. It's just easier to let down your guard online so you might get TMI if you chat me up. ;-) Derive whatever you can from what's here and msg me if you want to know more. If you dare!

My Interests

hockey, hockey players, movies, programming, reading, zine writing

I'd like to meet:

You? Ummm on second thought, maybe not.
Seriously, this is a great place to meet people you might not run into in everyday life. Hell I've even met a porn star here! So bring it on. You certainly don't have to be gay to talk to me - straight guys rock! hah. I also like talking about gaming industry, zines, hockey, movies, etc. So yea. Whatever. If you're cool and uninhibited, I'd probably be into chatting.

Music:

punk mainly ... The Queers, The Weakerthans, Weezer, Dropkick Murphys, Green Day, Frank Black and the Catholics, Nerf Herder. Currently Green Day is at the top of my list despite their popular appeal (which usually is considered anti-punk). I also love music as varied as Eminem and Dwight Yokum. Go figure.

Movies:

Donnie Darko, Sordid Lives, My Life as a Dog, Reservior Dogs, Clerks, Fight Club, Bully, Beautiful Thing, Parting Glances, A Room With a View ... not necessarily in that order.

Television:

Desperate Housewives, Survivor, Entourage, Dexter, Amazing Race, Hockey, Baseball

Books:

We Need to Talk About Kevin, Checker and the Dérailleurs, Modern English Usage by Fowler

Heroes:

hmmm this one's hard. It's corny but i guess my Dad was a big hero of mine. I didn't put him on a pedestal - he just always gave me a lot of love and good advice growing up. And Mom was pretty awesome too; she recently passed away and I felt an amazing sense of pride to be able to say she was my mom when people would approach me with stories about how her life inspired them. So they are indeed my heroes, bu I could always use more heroes, so feel free to apply!
