I’ve been playing, writing and singing in bluegrass and acoustic bands from Austin for the last ten years. For the last four of those ten, I’ve been the flatpick lead guitar player for the Two High String Band (http://highstring.com, http://www.myspace.com/twohighstringband ), and have performed with that band all over the country from New York to Seattle and Key West to LA.
This country (or however it should be labelled) project is a chance for me to record and perform some music that I’ve always wanted to do, but never had the time, until now. THSB keeps rolling on with its own new CD on the way. So when I’m not standing next to Billy and Brian and the gang on stage with THSB, maybe you’ll see me behind a telecaster, or maybe even a fiddle, playing country music!
