*I eat high quantities of yogurt, frequently mixed with granola or nuts or chocolate chips
*you might see me riding one of my beautiful bikes around portland as it is my main mode of transportation
*I will probably laugh at your jokes, even if they're not funny
*storms are wonderful and living in the city has made me miss the stars immensely
*baking is a mild obsession of mine
*escalators make me uncomfortable
*there's orange shag carpet on my floor
*I like to be challenged
*I have a degree in micro/molecular biology. my interest in viruses and bacteria will sometimes work its way into conversations
*sometimes I think too much, maybe all the time.
*I like orange, more than normal. but I think it might be in my blood so I just deal with it the best I can.

My Interests

orange bikes. sounds and smells of rainy nights, ponds and rivers and oceantides, docks, ducks and penguins, webbed feet, muddy feet, goldfish , jellyfish, fishing, hiking, camping, bikes and rides, swimming, spider webs, wine, bubbles, house plants and gardening and green spaces, big windows and natural light, late nights, early mornings, laughter, smiling, blueberries and carrots and baking, stop lights, orange juice , colored glass, cold hands, warm feet, cowboy hats, push pins, ice cube trays, waterfalls, photographs, shadows , echos, whispers, bridges, overpasses, underpasses, physics and chemistry and all those sciences, pygmy goats and llamas, 45-watt light bulbs, brush strokes, chickens, lightening, thunder, wind, storms.....

things i dont like: escalators, the post office, mushrooms, ovenmitts, doing dishes, parakeets, cold french fries, car alarms, and tomato juice

I'd like to meet:

people with contagious smiles and laughs, my grandparents when they were my age, biologists and chemists who can talk about their research for hours and still have more to say, anyone who wants to go on a bike ride, people who force me to evaluate my actions and challenge me to push harder
